Nelissen Bricks

From showroom to an experience that rocks

Informing and inspiring architects and project developers brick by brick: that was the goal of the new experience centre at Nelissen Steenfabrieken.
Could we use audio-visual technology to show visitors all the possibilities and help them in an interactive way to select and put together their ideal brick pallet.

Audiovisual experience

We have implemented audiovisual technology throughout the experience centre. At the reception desk, visitors are confronted with 2 stretched displays with logo animation, general customer welcome and mood impressions. In the waiting area, visitors can use a touch video wall with an interactive sample book, site tour and timeline through a touch video wall (6 displays).

In the category area, we hung 11 touch displays. This gives the visitor the opportunity to see photos of and information on all stones in the existing range and to compare certain ranges with each other by means of a ‘mix & join’ module. The favourites can easily be added to the linked app via the display. In the Stone Library, the stone combinations are placed next to each other. Using RFID technology, the result, including details, is displayed directly on the double sided displays. We have equipped the Experience zone with a curved projection wall, on which the result from the Stone Library can be projected onto buildings. Anything to create an experience.
